We are a small, two-person startup firm for a part-time Fractional CFO to manage our bookkeeping and accounts receivable. Position: Fractional CFO (Part-Time, Contract)
Location: Work from home.
Hours: Approximately 5-10 hours per week, flexible schedule
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, negotiable based on experience
Responsibilities:

Manage basic bookkeeping tasks, including tracking income, expenses, and reconciling accounts.

Handle accounts receivable, including invoicing, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding invoices.

Prepare monthly financial summaries for review.

Ensure compliance with basic tax and financial reporting requirements.

Provide light financial guidance to help us make informed business decisions.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as accountant, or bookkeeper, preferably for small businesses or startups or good general business experience.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.

Comfortable working it home, or in an office if you elect, occasional zoom meeting.

Location: On-site in Middletown office during initial training (estimated 2-4 weeks), then remote or work from home.
